Milbridge Historical Society and Museum Welcomes You
“If you want to understand today, you must search yesterday!” Pearl Buck
The highest priority of Milbridge Historical Society and Museum is to acquire, preserve, coordinate and compile all records and artifacts pertaining to the area’s inhabitants. We provide facilities for the caretaking, preservation and dissemination of such data to the community.

A Coastal Community and Shipbuilding Heritage
Founded in 1989 and established in its current location in 1996. Milbridge Historical Society and Museum has provided a place to share our records, artifacts and stories with the community. We have a great deal of information about people, places and things unique to our town.
We have two permanent exhibits about the fishing industry and shipbuilding. Each summer we feature a summer exhibit to showcase an area of our history.
The second Tuesday of June, July, August and September we provide a program or presentation free to the public.
Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a meaningful difference in our community.
